When I serve healing to the sick, I can do so from a position of absolute certainty that healing is God`s will and that it is His will for that person. If the church learns this, healing will rise to new dimensions. We are already beginning to see this as we teach people around the world the truths of DHT. It`s done!. Jesus lived as someone with authority. He expects us to live as those in authority. We must recognize that we are acting in His name and with His authority. By using His name/authority, we must realize that we are using His authority (which consists of ALL authority! We do not act with limited authority, we act in the same amount of authority as Jesus. Because it is His authority in which we act. If we learn this and operate in it fluently, we will see exactly the same results as Jesus.
One of the ways I developed my faith in God`s Word was by studying the prophecies Jesus fulfilled during His life on earth. Instead of giving rise to concern, the fact of the solid nature of God`s Word should be a cause for peace of mind. The fact that God`s Word is consolidated forever means that we can be absolutely sure that God will keep His Word and allow us to rest in the perfect nature of Christ`s work. Psalm 138:2 – I will worship your holy temple and praise your name for your loving goodness and for your truth; for thou hast magnified thy word beyond thy name. KJV It is His power that dwells within you that meets all needs. Learn to rely on the Spirit of God who dwells within you to fulfill every answer to every need. Therefore, you must learn to speak only God`s words or words that are in agreement with God`s words. It takes discipline, but it`s definitely worth it. We must learn that power does not fall from heaven to the sick.
It flows from us to the sick. That is why we lay hands on the sick to transmit to them the same life and strength. Rivers of living water flow from our belly. (John 7:38-39) These rivers are the Holy Spirit and it is the Holy Spirit that flows from us that heals the sick. I cannot stress this principle enough. There have been so many times when I have had the opportunity to distance myself from what the Bible says. In fact, whenever I chose to stick to God`s Word and put what it said above what the circumstances said, I had that opportunity. The enemy, the devil, does not have the authority to harm you.
He has to get you to agree with him in any way before he can actually do anything. The way he uses it the most is your words. He will try to catch you with your words, just as the scribes and Pharisees did with Jesus. Those who have the least difficulty overcoming their trials and difficulties are those who spend most of their time in God`s Word and communicate with Him. This is a very important aspect of DHT and of the victorious Christian life. The answer is simple: if you think you can`t do something about a problem, practice not seeing the problem. If you thought you couldn`t help the sick, you trained yourself not to see them. But once you learn that you can do something to help, you immediately start seeing them. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20 that He had received ALL authority in heaven and on earth. He then said that we should walk in His name (that is, in His authority, which was ALL authority) and train people to live and function exactly as He had lived and functioned. As a believer, you must develop your trust in the truth of God`s Word, which declares that you and Jesus and the Father are one. United together.
You must also receive the Holy Ghost and rely on His power to dwell within you to fulfill all that God has promised. It is His inner mind that allows power to flow through you into others. The first principle we will examine is “The Absolute Authority of the Word of God.” In today`s world, absolute things are frowned upon. Many will try to say that the absolute is too narrow-minded. The Bible says that the Word of God is “forever laid down in heaven” (Psalm 119:89). The Word of God is the absolute authority in the life of the Christian, regardless of what others think. This principle actually consists of two parts. The first is that God`s Word will never change. That he is “forever installed in heaven”. This means that everything God`s Word says today will say it 1,000 years from now.
All I have to do is make sure I know and understand what he is saying. The second part is that the Word of God is the absolute authority over all aspects of the Christian`s life and practice. This means that I can be completely sure that if I do what the Bible says (and do it for the reasons the Bible requires), I can know that I am doing God`s will. In this newsletter, we`ll look at these simple but effective principles. The last principle we are going to look at now is that you must know that God is for you, with you, and in you! You need to know the close connection you have with God because you have been accepted into His family. You have been united to Him. He is the vine, you are the branch. The life of the vine is the same life that flows through the branch.
(1 Corinthians 6:17) You must know that you are your brother`s keeper. You need to know that this should be done to others as you would like them to do to you. (Matthew 7:12) Without exception, the people I find who have the most problems in life are the ones who spend the least time in God`s Word. To gain a good foundation in the importance and authority of God`s Word, read Psalm 119 every day for a month. Notice the meaning of God`s Word, His law, and His commandments in this Psalm. As believers, we must choose to apply God`s Word to all areas of our lives. One of the biggest changes that occurs when a person participates in a DHT is that they begin to see the multitude of sick people around them. Many asked me where all the sick people came from, because they had never seen them in such large numbers before. 4) The unification of the believer with God by Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit John Lake said that the mystery of the amazing power demonstrated in the revival in South Africa was due to the fact that the workers learned to exercise the lordship of Jesus Christ and received the power when they received the Holy Spirit. The best way to develop this ability is to constantly think, read, or meditate on God`s Word. The more time you spend with God`s Word, the more saturated you become with His Word and Spirit and His attitude toward life and all its trials and difficulties. When people ask me what I think is the most important aspect of DHT, I also answer that it is the authority of God`s Word.
Without the knowledge and belief that God`s Word is established forever, I would never be able to pray the prayer of faith. The best thing anyone can do in such a case would be to pray a prayer of hope. 3) Take responsibility for serving and protecting prisoners oppressed from disease 2) Exercise Jesus` dominion and authority over sickness Since the Bible constantly speaks of the sick who are oppressed and imprisoned by the devil once you learn the truth about who you are and what God expects of you, It is natural that you begin to take responsibility for liberating the oppressed.
