The Global Corporate Government Affairs and Policy (GCGAP) team supports all areas of GSK by identifying political and environmental trends and developing strategies to maximise business benefits or mitigate risks. Our calibration and instrumentation training is a three-year paid program. They attend college part-time, study the theoretical elements of the training and gain hands-on workshop experience. Plus, you`ll spend time at the manufacturing plant learning new skills as you go through different engineering teams on site. Your rotations may include time in manufacturing, labs, packaging, maintenance services, and/or automation. Your education combines on-the-job learning with a training and development program. Interns and co-ops can network at GSK on-site events, such as networking lunches, site visits and poster sessions. Student Workplace Ambassadors keep interns and co-ops informed and engaged through internal newsletters, luncheons, and off-site events such as dinners and local events.
