How to Nominate Your Company for an Award

Some companies formalize their promotion process using formal letters of appointment. The appointment of a person for a position shows that there are people within the organization who are committed to it. For example, if you have an employee who has excelled beyond their production quota for several years, has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, and is always on time, you can write a formal appointment letter on their behalf. You can also ask company leaders to consider the employee for a leadership position based on their performance and leadership skills. The Employee Awards Committee wants to help you prepare the best possible nomination. That`s why we asked past nominators and winners if we could share their nominations with you. Here you will find a winning nomination for the Administrative Staff Award as well as one for the Team Award. A nomination letter is an official document that sponsors or nominates someone for a new role, award, raise, award or other type of recognition. Nomination letters usually contain information about the subject`s contributions or suitability for the proposed award, as well as sponsors. Writing a good nomination letter can take care and time, and a well-written and organized nomination letter can increase the chances of a successful nomination. NOMINEE is one of the first employees of XYZ COMPANY, which started here 23 years ago. There is no normal day and the job is to support/lead the President of XYZ COMPANY (she often guides me). You don`t go to a school to learn how to manage XYZ COMPANY and manage a variety of issues.

The candidate must juggle all the balls and remain calm, cool and professional while being my most reliable advisor. The work includes fan relations, divas (sports stars, music artists, elected officials, media), staff, lawyers, staff at our publicly traded head office, concession matters, merchandise issues, operational matters (related to weather, medical care, parking, traffic, ticketing, etc.), security issues, etc. And then there is the advertising page of my work, which asks him to know exactly what I mean and how to react when I rush to his desk and say, without breaking a step (and these are real examples): “I need a shiny Western shirt”, “Find me a monkey that sells souvenir programs, “I need two life-size rock `em today, Sock `Em robot,” “Send the motorized bathtub to this dinner and remind him I can`t eat chicken.” And she never looks up. She just has the western shirt that lights up or the monkey or the rock `em, the robot sock and everything else. Because it`s everyday life for them. And all the time, whether it`s the president of one of America`s largest corporations or a congressman I met at a gas station calling me on the phone, she talks to them individually and they don`t realize she`s also trying to line up for the next person to do it as a fire-eater. to go to my office to show me their skills. And that`s what she does all the time. Daily. This is our normality. No professional skills are required that she cannot apply.

For 23 years. All. Perfect. No mistakes. Never forget anything. We have one box after another full of her daily spiral notebooks filled with information about every call or conversation she`s had here. Earlier in this app, I explained how she has to juggle a lot of balls while being my eyes and ears. These abilities are certainly evident in their performance. I can tell you that so many professionals I meet, many big names you know, ask me about NOMINEE because they have built a relationship with her on the phone. She has attended many conferences and seminars over the years related to her role here, but honestly, I can`t tell you what they were. I don`t have spiral notebooks on all the conversations I`ve had over the last 23 years.

But he kept up to date, especially in terms of computer skills. Recognize that in those 23 years, we`ve moved from PCs to email, databases, computer targeting tools, micro-targeting, CSMs, and more. We have practically gone from the Stone Age to Big Brother in those 23 years. And NOMINEE is the one who explained everything to me and helped me develop my (rudimentary) digital skills. Simply put, NOMINEE ran this company while I was the leader for over two decades. We are quite simple for several reasons. First of all, I always tell our employees that we will always do the right thing because it is always the right thing. Secondly, we are also a publicly traded company and I do not even want us to give the impression that we are doing something inappropriate. We work hard, 12 months a year. But in the weeks leading up to a race, and especially during the week of a race, we often work 18 hours or more a day.

NOMINEE has always led by example and is the first here and the last to leave. She told many of our employees how to behave. She told them about our XYZ COMPANY Pride and created a culture that everyone should meet. Whether it`s the way they dress, talk, or get creative, she`s challenged people countless times to make sure they`re doing their best at all times. Because that`s what we all expect from each other. She set the standard for our culture here. Everyone should be treated honestly, openly and fairly. There is a standard in our industry, and then there is a higher standard that we expect from XYZ COMPANY. NOMINEE treats everyone equally, honestly, openly and fairly. You are praised if you do it well, but she also went to the employees to encourage them to improve their performance. She is not only my administrative assistant, she is everyone`s assistant here, and she gives a lot of awareness and instills a pride that our employees must meet. She develops relationships with everyone she talks to, including those she has only spoken to on the phone but has never met.

It instills pride in XYZ Company. She`ll be at her desk on a Saturday two weeks before a race, doing weird little administrative things that she knows needs to be done because she also knows she has to devote her time in the days immediately leading up to the race to unpredictable issues. It solves them all. She is my eyes and ears. It doesn`t matter if it`s a new young person selling tickets, someone in our gift shop or a new person in our IT department, the candidate sees everything and hears everything. I can`t see and hear things because I`m always in meetings and a lot of people behave differently when the boss is around. So when I say something about being disappointed in someone, she often told me that I misjudged them. She encouraged me to talk to others to amplify their thoughts about an individual`s performance. She pointed out the big and small things done by a staff member to make sure I noticed her. It also tells me who is inherently honest and who is not. She has done all this countless times over the years.

She has reconciled with me since 1996. I have to be honest. I got tired of myself in 2002. A. To say that the implementation/deployment went relatively smoothly could be an understatement. From the first version, the app was user-friendly to intuitive. For most users, the only instruction required was: “Enter/approve final grades on ACSIS”. For a small minority, a second message needed was: “If you have forgotten your ACSIS password, please contact ITS@5555”. One. I would like to nominate Chris Hahn for the Administrative Staff of the Year Award for his exemplary leadership as Dean of the Perth campus.

Chris successfully transitioned from President to Dean and made a huge but calm impact in his role, leading a renewal of students, faculty and staff and overall satisfaction on the Perth campus. Over the past two years, we have worked hard to make RMP a great place to work. Happy employees are productive employees, and we`ve seen incredible evidence of this through the initiatives of our culture champions. The increase in revenue, customer loyalty and engagement has been so rewarding, and to be recognized as a finalist in an award like Business Culture is fantastic. Whether we win or not, we are proud as a shot. Seeing the subject line “Congratulations, you`re a finalist!” fall into your inbox is an amazing feeling.
