Andreas Philippopoulos-Mihalopoulos is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Westminster, UK. His research interests include phenomenology, autopoiesis, critical legal theory, urban theory, human rights, psychoanalysis, theology, geography and art theory. We employ more than 300 public servants, including more than 215 lawyers and 100 specialists. The department is headed by the city attorney, appointed by the mayor with the advice and approval of the city council. The Civil Department of the City Attorney`s Office provides legal advice and advice to City Council, the City Manager and all city departments, committees and commissions.
