As far as possible, the Court refers to the classification and remuneration system administered by the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC), established by the General Assembly of the United Nations. The Court most often recruits staff for the following professions: how to respond to a call for expressions of interest or to submit a spontaneous application? The vast majority of staff in the Court`s services are recruited from reserve lists of open competitions organised by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO). The staff is divided into three function groups: function group AD, which includes administrators and lawyers; Function group AST, which includes administrative assistants, and function group AST/SC, which covers clerical and secretarial tasks.
Function group AD requires a university degree or equivalent, while function group AST requires at least a post-secondary or higher level of secondary education and three years of work experience. Temporary agents are mainly recruited for posts finally filled by successful candidates in competitive examinations. You can fill positions that require a specific profile for short assignments. The auxiliary contract staff member shall replace an official who is unable to perform his duties by reason of illness or maternity leave.
