I think the app is good for some information like owner and square footage, maybe a coordinated central GPS. The app isn`t good if you`re trying to stake your property and avoid hiring a high-priced surveyor. Which I tried to avoid. I was hoping that this application would take the place of a surveyor. The app only gives you a general idea of where your property line is, but it`s not accurate. There are no border posts or needles on my property, or on my neighbors` property. To find the corners of your property, you will probably still need to hire a surveyor. I want to build a privacy fence around my property, but also avoid building on my neighbors` property and urban property.
Instead of hiring a $500 land surveyor to mark the four corners of my property, I downloaded this app because I thought it would do it for me, it didn`t do anything like that. During 7 days of free trial, I tried everything at my disposal in the app to mark the corners of my property. I still don`t know where my real estate corners are. I have a general idea of where the dividing lines are, but not specific enough to build a fence. Unless I don`t know what I`m doing in the app, apps are a bit more complicated than it`s called. After the 7-day free trial, I deleted the app because I had no use for it. This app was useless to stake your own property. I guess I will only need to hire a surveyor. Find land in Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) divided by the Federal Lands Survey (DLS) and the Alberta Township System (ATS). This is one of the most useful apps I`ve ever seen. I use it almost every day for one thing or another. It`s really useful when looking at properties – it gives you the name of the owner, a breakdown of the type of land (how much land is forested, how many wetlands, how many open spaces…), the act in relation to the actual area, all sorts of good things.
It also follows you as you walk around the property so you know exactly where the property lines are. My broker and I constantly find misinformation in MLS listings. The app is really well laid out – the navigation is intuitive. It is also kept up to date. I can`t say enough good things about this app. One thing to keep in mind – not all counties have homeowner information, so if you`re looking for homeowner information in a specific county, check your county before you buy it.
