Hi, Ryan. I just promised $3 per piece of content to LAB on Patreon. I was wondering how to access the private Facebook group? Your email address will not be published. Required fields are marked with * I just sent you a welcome email. I also accepted your request for the FB group. Loving your travels makes me want to take to the streets and see the world. Cool photos, people and adventures. I truly believe in the close-knit community of law-abiding bikers that have shown me so much support since I started this content creation journey! It`s so great that you`re interested in supporting me and the content I create, and that`s exactly what I`m talking about. Law-abiding bikers, the majority of motorcyclists, are the most generous and down-to-earth people on the planet! I can`t imagine belonging to a better community of people. Why Patreon? It`s so great that the law-abiding biker community is interested in supporting my content! Patreon offers me this possibility, even in very small quantities (which is my favorite part), while allowing me to return the favor in the form of “rewards”. Patreon is secure, so you can set a limit or ceiling per month so you don`t go over your budget. Example; If you promise $1 per episode/video release, set a monthly limit/cap of $10, I publish 20 episodes/videos……….
You only pay your monthly limit/limit of $10 and not a penny more! Isn`t that cool? I now believe that those who love the content I create want me to keep doing what I do and will willingly reward my hard work. This is much more rewarding than trying to sell ads to fund content, which can also be difficult. Creating original media content is not easy, but a little support can […] make me want to create something and maybe even make me live it! Growth/Correspondence: As the Law Abiding Biker podcast, my YouTube channel, and my website continue to grow, it becomes increasingly difficult to respond to all emails and comments everywhere in a timely manner. Personally, I love it when I get a quick response when I send an email or comment online. That`s why I`ve always responded to 100% of emails and comments and I usually do it quickly. But lately, it has become much more difficult. By prioritizing anyone who contributes only $5 or more per podcast episode or video release, I can ensure I can respond to your comment in less than 24 hours. I love it and so do you. 😉Truths and reality: Creating this content and making it available to you is not without price for me, my two daughters and my wife, both financially and during work hours. Operating costs are steadily rising as things gain momentum and more content is created and published. Please understand, I`m not complaining.
Some examples of these operating costs include website domains, website hosting, audio hosting, video hosting, subscription email services, software, online file storage services, new website plug-ins, website spam and email spam services, website plug-ins, website security and website backups. Enough said, you understand what is important. I spend over 40 hours a week preparing, creating, editing, and publishing content via podcasts, videos, and blogs. This is in addition to the more than 40 hours a week in my normal job that pays me. I work long shifts in my regular job, so when I have days off, it`s usually 4 days in a row. I spend these 4 days “for free” maintaining this journey of content creation. A lot needs to be done behind the scenes to create and provide you with quality content. Examples include preparing podcasts and videos, recording, editing, publishing, advertising, and writing a blog for everyone. Creation, maintenance and updating of websites. Update and interact on social media platforms. Respond to emails, website comments, video comments, and phone messages. Yes, I also work on sponsorship.
Invoices, taxes, accounting and all other requirements for small businesses. Wheeeew! Greg made history when he became the first patron member of LAB Media years ago.
